Default Ruby is home

Picked it up Thurs night, great truck. Spent many hours on here researching prior to making the final choice, was a huge help for a newbie truck owner...

So far...

Bak Revolver X2
Bed Rug mat
Husky X-Acts
Clear Bra and paint treatment next week

Maybe some wheels in the future, but the more I see the SE wheels the more I like them.

Damn nice truck! I considered the SE XLT model. I ended up with a Lariat Sport. I didnt like the red accents as much in the Lariat SE seats so i settled for the Sport instead. But still Ruby Red!

Unfortunately mine is in the hospital at the moment.....

Thx, I went back and forth on the Lariat Sport and the SE, bottom line they are all great trucks. I drive a lot and I very rarely see a SE, let alone a Ruby red one, so that factored into my choice as well. Sorry to hear about your rig, hope they can fix it soon....

I agree, you don't see many SE's on the road. I ordered mine in April and got it in May. I've only seen 4 of them on dealer lots and one on the highway when I was in Kentucky near Bowling Green in June, it was Race Red like mine. Mine is just a XLT, but as soon as the Lariat SE grille is available, I will be installing one. I think the Ruby Red looks great but was set on having Race Red. I also thought the SE wheels looked good, but when I saw an Oxford White SE on the forum with these wheels, I just had to have them. The red goes good with the red on the truck. I believe the red in your grille and stripe is Race Red. These wheels might look good on the Ruby Red.

By the way, yours looks great.

Thx...funny enough my neighbor a few houses down the street just got a Race Red XLT SE just like yours. We are both thinking about wheels and I had mentioned yours to him. I really like the Fuel Nutz but there are so many wheel choices it is overwhelming. If I get wheels, I would have to see them on the truck as I have seen many that look great in a pic or at a retailer, but then on the truck, it can change the look and personality of the truck. The thing about the SE is that I feel it is a classy truck with a bit of a sporty edge to it and that is what attracted me to it. I don't want the truck to become a lifted 4x4, not that there is anything wrong with that (I have seen a lot of really nice ones on here), but I want to keep the original look of the truck intact. Here is a pic of the wheels on a black Platinum that has the look I am after, less the lift.
