Your VIN has it enabled in BCM (726-22-02 0001 0001 0053)

This same address controls spot lights & remote start and yours is already set to allow both (with the correct hardware in place).

If your spotlights weren't enabled the value would have a "1" in in this position: 726-22-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx

I haven't found the address & value yet that enables/disables puddle lamps.

Sounds great - thank you!!

I will order all parts to make the spotlights work when I order the AD mirrors and 22 pin XLT door harnesses on Monday.

Update: just found the address/value for puddle lamps, turn signal indicator on mirror and mirror blind spot light. If you follow post #1 I made here, it'll show you what you need to get going with FORScan: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/forsc...-truck-348987/

In DDM you have: 740-04-01 7000 BC , you can change that to 740-04-01 F400 40 to enable puddles, turn signal indicator and blind spot light

In PDM you have 741-04-01 7000 BD, again change that to 741-04-01 F400 41 to enable puddles, turn signal indicator and blind spot light for passenger mirror

I'm still working on the individual vales that will enable only some of them if that's the route you want to take so let me know. Hope this helps

My truck doesn't have BLIS. Since the non trailer tow mirrors currently have functional turn signals, I am going to assume they will function with the new AD trailer tow mirrors.

If you find the individual value for the puddle lamps that would be great. Perhaps you could check my VIN to see if they are already enabled?

I just tried your as-built value and puddle lamps won't turn on with it...you'll need to change it to:

DDM: 740-04-01 F000 3C - puddle lamps and turn signal
PDM: 741-04-01 F000 3D - puddle lamps and turn signal

Thank you

Can this be changed with FORScan?

Livnitup, it has been said here on this post that new door modules are needed to program tow mirrors to work (extend and fold). Is it possible to find out if that is the case or do we just need to verify the correct options are turned on in a particular line of code?

I don't know why they would be needed if you could put the same code with FORScan in the existing ones but if someone here has already tried that and it didn't work, then maybe there's something else going on besides the actual coding. If it were me, I'd certainly try it with my existing modules before buying new ones. I'm looking for the value that controls the telescoping of the tow mirrors but I can tell you I've already found the values that control the folding. I'll go back and start reading this thread from the beginning to see if I can gain a better understanding of why existing modules won't work.
