I'm not sure what is the source of your telescope function not working, but refer to the wiring diagram I attached. This is the entire telescope circuit. There are 4 wires in the cab harness that must be added that I have outlined in red. If all 4 of those wires have been added properly, I would check for the presence of the 2 wires I've highlighted in the green. It is possible those wires are present in your cab harness.

I don't believe you've told us the year or trim level of your vehicle so I used a 2016 wiring schematic.

Thank you. My truck is a 2017 XLT 302A with BLIS.

I did not do any wiring into C510 and C610. I thought by adding the Lariat harness in my doors that I did not need to work on those connectors. I am not good with circuit diagrams but if I am interpreting this correctly:
  • The wiring that I did between C265 and C268 was incorrect
  • I needed to take the two wires that I pulled from C265 to C610.
  • The two pigtails from C268 need to go to C510
  • I will confirm that CPV41 and CPV42 between C268 and C510 are present.

I am afraid I can't be of any more help. If you follow the wiring as per the schematic I posted, I can assure you power scope will work. It has been accomplished too many times on XLT 302A Pkg.

Has anyone had a lin bus error in their passenger door module after completing the swap?

Assuming that the dotted lines in the diagram means that the circuits are in the same connectors, I think that I understand how to do this. Thanks for the help.

A7 - LH Mirror Retract
A14 - Window Switch Retract
A15 - LH Mirror Extend
A20 - Window Switch Extend

The terminals are available from Ford - Part # DU2Z-14474-CA
Do you happen to have the pin diagram for C610 so that I can identify
A5 RH Mirror Extend
A6 RH Mirror Retract

Ok so I have read through the majority of this (skipped a few pages) and downloaded many of the PDFs supplied.
I have a 16 XLT with tow mirrors that have power glass, spot lights and puddle lamps, they also have the 22 pin harnesses.

I have lined up a set of tow mirrors with power fold and telescope as well as bliss and the door modules (new) and the folding switch without telescope.

Has anyone thought about getting the 17 superduty switch bezel and telescoping switch to potentially make it easier to install? (not 100% sure if it will be or if it is the same size bezel as the f150 one) seems like it is a dpdt switch essentially which would seem to be easier.

Also can I program the door modules with ForScan or does a dealer have to being as they are brand new?

tmcolegr the 5 wires you used on the 22 pin setup (DU2Z-14474-CA) do you have a picture of them? Are they just wires with the correct pin to be inserted into the connectors?

Thanks in advance guys!

edit: The 17 superduty extend switch and window switches is one unit and longer then the f150 setup.

Yes you can program the door modules with FORScan no need to go to the dealer.

I'm sorry I don't have pictures, however the attachments in post # 1031 shows how to add the 5 wires to each door harness. The (10) DU2Z-14474-CA pigtails have the correct terminal that allows them to be inserted into the connector at the mirror and door module. Because of the close proximity of the door module to the mirrors, you won't need any additional wiring other than 10 (5 for each door) butt splices w/heat shrink. This part is very easy to do.

Can anyone that has completed this retrofit on a 2017 F150 XLT 302A with factory BLIS, spots, and puddle lamps, AND reprogrammed their factory door modules confirm that the programming in this document works on the 2017 trucks?

Thanks
