Just purchased my manual and anxiously waiting on the download. I am excited to get this for only $70.

I purchased a 5 year subscription from ALLDATAdiy for my 2010 Camaro when I had it but I did not find this really useful at all. You have to click a million times to find anything and sometimes when you find what you need, there still isn't anything useful. IMHO it is not complete and as comprehensive as the OE manual.

I'd just rather have the OE manual and have it as a PDF. It's also easier to search for anything. If you want to find a particular word in the manual, just click CTL+F and type the word.....bam! It also works awesome on your phone or ipad as well. I have my user manual on my phone and it so easy to use.

With ALLDATAdiy you need to have internet and be clicking all over the website just to find something.

I'm saying all of this and haven't even received it yet.

This manual has helped me more than any of you will ever know with the things I've found in the FORScan thread. My only regret is not finding this manual before I wasted money on the online Chilton 1-year membership. So as someone who has probably seen more parts of this manual than most here, I can honestly tell you it's a bargain.

Ordered mine as well and anxiously awaiting the download link. Was a little skeptical, seeing a Romanian based website. But after seeing others on here who have received the product I went ahead with the order.

If there is no picture, then how do you know what the pins go to? The numbers alone don't tell the whole story. Is there a list that shows names the connections that you can see in the PDF files?

There is no need of any picture, do you did not understand? You have the connector in your hand, in order to measure values, and on the real connector you can see the numbers of pins.
From the wiring diagram, you can find exactly what pin you need to measure and from what connector. And you can find easy where the connector is located.

Take a look to the picture from attachment. 22 is the pin number, from the connector number C2280A. When you look at that connector, you will see the numbers on the connector and you can measure.
Easy job for anyone.

That's fine and all, but what if I wanted to know what the signals are in one of the harnesses. For example, years ago I knew a guy that was putting the 350z engine into Sentras. The problem with the engine swap was that the tachometer ran 50% too fast. I designed a board for him that basically reduced the rate that the pulses were sent to the tachometer, allowing him to do a much nicer engine swap.

So, from your drawing, I can tell that pin 22 of C2280A is a constant 12v power wire. But what if I wanted to know which pin that goes to the gauge cluster is the one for the tachometer? How would I figure that out? This might be a poor example as I wouldn't be surprised if this is all on the CAN bus or something like that now, but the question still stands.

Nowadays, not all electrical issues can solved by an electrician and a wiring diagram. When you see on a wiring CAN BUS, you are in big trouble. Because for that signal, you need special tools, like a laptop and a software to speak with electronic modules.
For the second part, all wires are on the wiring diagrams, just that you must know how to find them.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I am looking for a 2016 F150 Platinum manual. But at least the search function at google works

When ordering at https://www.factory-manuals.com/cart
does it ask for a VIN or do I need to PM Factory-Manuals on this forum?
