If you want to take care of your own car.. the factory repair manual and the owner manual is all that you ever need.
The manufacturer must inform the owner when his car have a recall. See recently, VW.
And, if you have only Ford cars, is a good idea to pay a subscription to Ford, yearly, instead to pay to Alldata. Same money, but you have all you need from Ford, much quickly.
Alldata are taking these info from Ford, and made it public after years..

At $169 a month, $2,028 a year, I think that I could pay the dealer to fix my niggling screwups, that are not warranty work.
https://orders.alldata.com/default/
For $70, I got a 10,000+ page shop manual. So far, I have used it to see how to take apart the center dash trim, and how to remove the right front bumper trim piece (don't ask why it needed replacing!). I also posted a page for a forum member on door spacing measurement, for adjusting his doors.
To justify $169 a month, it would have to come with a busty female mechanic.

The AllData DIY single vehicle subscription price is $44.95 for 5 years. Unfortunately, the 2015-2016 is not supported at this time.

all it needs to do is save 3 hrs a month and the rest is gravy to fill my pockets considering I do 90% collision repair . So the more time I save the more we make .

I didn't see it, but to those who have used the Factory Manuals service, has anyone asked if they can buy the paper copy that is generated as well as the PDF file? As I understand it, they create a paper manual for your truck, scan it and then send you the file. Then I guess they toss the papers. I may not be able to save a tree, but maybe I can put it on my bookshelf.
ETA: I just sent a PM to Stefan at Factory Manuals and will post here with his response if he doesn't see my question in the thread.

I think the Factory Manual Gator is referring to is this one that KJP posted the link to, as it is $70 as well:

I bought this manual and the paper copy of the wiring diagrams.
I have factory manuals for my Corvettes and my Mustang in paper as a comparison. I do not like the ebook copy of the repair manual in this case it is better than nothing but not up to the other manuals I use.

And carrier's right if I had many, many days or many, many dollars. I think I'll be fine with the electronic version. I can always print a topic to get grease on when necessary. Thanks, everyone.

A PDF file can be printed out. You have 2 choices. Buy the manual, a case of letter size paper a couple of packs of printer ink and get busy. Or put the file on a thumb drive, take it to Kinkos, OfficeMax or Staples and have them print it and bind it for you.
