Have messaged them twice for the update. Nothing so far. It's been over 2 week.

Anyone know where to purchase the electronic factory repair manual other than the link in this thread? I am not too keen on buying something from Romania that has tracking software hidden in the code.

https://www.factory-manuals.com/term...itions_14.html. I agree with copyright laws, but a third party putting hidden code in my electronic file is not worth it to me.

Your loss then; you're not gonna find anything as comprehensive for the price. And how does a .pdf file have tracking software built in?

The hidden information only purpose is to protect the copyrights. That is not a software tracking. It is a text.
If you try to share that file with others, your personal data can be read. And you will be 100% responsible for breaking the copyrights law.
And, if you have something to say about Romania, it is a european country, and out business is 100% legit.
I can gave you right now thousands of website who are lying about their real address..

Hang in there. It took a few weeks for my update to arrive. The files are about 20% larger then before. They look like they rescan the entire manual, not just send the updates.

The problem with Alldata is that it takes them forever to list new vehicles. I have an Alldata DIY subscription and they still don't have the 2015+ F150 available. The diagrams aren't nearly as good as in the OEM manual too.

It sounds like your product is good, but copyright laws are for the original manufacturer of the product which is not you. There is no reason to write hidden code in a document before resell as a third party vendor. Best of luck to you and your future sales. After talking to my dealership and a couple of independent repair shops, I will stick with www.alldata.com.

We protect the Ford CO copyrights, not us. We do not resell these manuals, we do not own these, we just create the manuals, with a subscription paid, in your name. And you are the responsible for copyrights in front of Ford CO.
Good luck with Alldata.
