Question Reliability to 3yr

So after many F150's I would like to know how many make it to the 3yr mark without issues and how many buy extended warranty because they are afraid after 3yr. Also how many have had recalls. I have had one on every F150 and Escape and Ranger since 2010.

I purchased mine new in 2015, and haven't had any major issues. The auto start/stop did fail and was fixed under warranty. Aside from that, just recalls, oil changes, and filter replacements.

For recalls, there's no need to do a survey - you can search them publicly.

Worthless poll. Where is the choice for no issues?

I had issues within 3 years, but I had more than 36,000 miles. I bought a Ford ESP when the truck was new. I also extended it out earlier this year. So far it has covered everything and I've been out no more than $300 for the 3 times I've used it ($100 deductible). I've had more problems than I would like with this truck, but I'm still a fan of the F-150 and will probably get the new body in 2022.

I won't hit 3 years until June 1.

I have had to replace the disk that holds the vacuum for the IWE system. Twice.

I did not buy an "extended warranty" (actually a service contract).

I had to have the transmission pin replaced. My truck has the frozen door locks recall, but since I live in the southern US, it has not been an issue for me, so I have not had that done.

No major issues going on 4 years....starts great, runs great, shifts great, reasonable mileage with no chassis, cabin or engine noises.
One semi-major issue, sticking tail gate step needed replacing
Three minor issues not worth mentioning
All taken care of with the bumper to bumper

Far as recalls and TSBs, only the frozen door latch one which i never experienced so i disregarded it.
No way i'm gonna let them remove the door panels for no reason.....what could possibly go wrong.

Bought the ext. warranty to let me sleep better at night, same with all my other vehicles.
No complaints, great dependable truck so far at some 28K miles.
