Default 2017 3.5l XLT crew cab 10 speed

I bought it new in 2017, coming up on 33,000 miles. My dealership noticed the leaky oil pan and replaced it under warranty. Last summer it stopped spraying windy washed fluid. That was also fixed under warranty. I have had problems with the rear doors not closing due to freezing weather. I don’t plan on getting that fixed for a few reasons. I’ve heard it doesn’t really work, and I park in the garage throughout the winter.
I plan on getting an ESP this summer before the 3/36 warranty is up. Just for peace of mind. Probably from flood ford, or if my dealership can match it.
Other than those issues nothing else has come up. I love the truck and plan on leveling coil overs this spring and driving it for years to come.

With everything that's posted, there is one glaring fact that never gets any praise.

These trucks don't leave us stranded on the side of the road.
We constantly pick them apart, from the comforts of home, because our squeaky, rattling, hard shifting, oil consuming f150's always get us home.

These are electro-mechanical systems

Something is going to fail

What you need to consider is the cost of the extended warranty vs cost of repairs over that time period

It dont make sense to spend say 3,000 on a 2 year plan when the the likely hood of repairs over that period is 2,000

For recalls, there's no need to do a survey - you can search them publicly.
Similar results with my 2015 5.0. I had cooling seat issue fixed and door issue. Not quite what I consider "reliability issue." Just me. My only mechanical issue was a AC belt that stretched. I don't think an AC belt should need replacing in 5 years and 40k but that's an easy one. I'll take it. No tech issues for my Lariat. Everything works as it should.

Maybe reword the poll questions....IMHO it's worded horribly.

4-2015 Purchase. Had one recall a few months after purchase regarding the re programing of the ACC.

Other than that I have had zero issues outside of replacing the battery recently.

There's more people like me than you think. It's the forum that would make you think otherwise.

Mine liked to stall out at red lights, but in fairness, it did start right back up.

And before someone says it, look at my sig. My truck does not have auto start-stop.
