Talking Pulled the trigger and ordered Bilstein 5100s!

Pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered them for my truck. I'm not sure whether to keep it at stock height and continue to run my levelling spacer or adjust it all the way and keep the spacer out. Any difference in ride quality between both scenarios?

I just ordered them too, hoping others will chime in. I called a local shop for an installation quote and they stated two hours labor per side plus alignment would be $860.00 USD! Now I'm kind of wishing I had bought the whole coilover assmblies so I could have done it in my driveway.

Default Spring compressor

DIY with a good spring compressor. This one was recommended to me, worked great/not at all scary to use.

Same look is available on Amazon for less.

Your local FLAPS will also rent you a set of spring compressors.

I just recently installed bilsteins, 1.75 inch lift. My only complaint is that I didn't do it sooner. Looks great and rides great. A friend of mine has a lift in his garage and it took us all day.

Luckily I'm just getting a garage to do the fronts for me. At 1.75 lift does that keep it level? or still has a slight rake?

I thought it would keep a slight rake, which i wanted because I tow a small trailer. But it seems pretty level, no noticable rake. New bilsteins in the rear too.

Pics by chance? If that's the case I may just ditch the puck and sell them off.

Its raining, so i took these from inside the garage, but you get the idea. You can see the bed is pretty level. And a decent lift in the front even with larger than stock BFGs.

id just buy a set of Amazon Spring compressors and do them yourself...or rent them

I was not a fan of Bilsteins so if i did them again, id keep them at stock and do the puck on top.
