Are mirrors with Puddle lights plug n Play? mine have heat, blinkers, and power only....

I realize you need a Module, and a new vent trim piece with switches for the Spotlights. As the tailgate handle light (Trailer Hitch Light) is Plug N Play, right?

 

Spot lamps must be enabled in the BCM in addition to the mirror hardware changes
Puddle lamps require changing one of the values in the DDM in addition to the mirror hardware changes

Spotlights should already be enabled in BCM even if your truck didn't come with it but puddles need programming in DDM & PDM (Passenger Door Module)

 

with an xlt and those options you likely only have the 8 pin harness for the mirrors, mirrors with puddle lights use the 22 pin xlt harness, or if your upgrading you may as well go for the lariat+ 22 pin harness modules ect.

 

So the wiring harness is differnt, on say xlt mirrors with Puddles, blinkers, spots, power, and heated. Vs. Xlt Mirrors with only blinkers, power, and heated?

 

My tows have the large 22pin on xlt/xtr package

 

Can the 22 pin harness, be added easily?
