Diode Dynamics said they're coming up with something soon for the halogens for the LED ring but who knows when that will be out.

you guys getting quotes for $800 or so, did that include one kit, for quads? Do you supply the head light housing? Just seems alot cheaper than my retrofit with one set of lights. I know I could have gotten it cheaper if the guy had more experience with the lights, and if he didn't have to pull, and reaim them, but my lights alone cost $400, how are you doing quads for $800 installed?

Thanks all. I've emailed a shop close to my place who makes Retrofit and will see what they can do. Hopefully they will fix my problem for a reasonable price. I have all the HID kit in there already so should be under $500 I hope.

Im my case, its a single Mini D2S bi-xenon and no halo rings. Quads look odd to me so I decided to just leave the bottom/OE high beam empty. The $855 includes all parts/labor with me supplying the assemblies. I am looking to do a core charge where I dont have to be two weeks without headlamps, and return mine for a refund.

I refuse to spend 200-300 dlls on junkyard headlamps I'll never use again, and wont be able to resell.

Okay great, that sounds a lot more like what i was doing. 800 for quads seemed really cheap. Luckily I could borrow my gf's car and got my truck back in about 3 days. I have the mini ds2's and I have been really happy with them, especially compared to stock.

The main reason they're charging $800 is because of labor and yes that's only dual projectors, not quad I believe. I am going to do my own retrofit mainly cuz it saves me money but also cause I want to do my own. I priced out the projectors, ballasts, wiring, etc on TRS and it came out to be about $600. Also the other reason I'm doing it myself is cause I scored a set of headlights for about $100 total from a fellow member on here, that way I can as much time as I want on my retrofit and not have to worry about not using my truck.

They'll look like this except with different colors and a few different changes to the halos.

That'll look really cool. I have -0 knowledge of lighting and stuff so I didn't want to risk doing it myself, it would have cut my pricing in half pretty much. I am excited to see yours though that looks like it'll be awesome looking.

What bulbs and set up are you using?

Thanks! Yeah it's my first headlight retrofit too but since I have the extra set of headlights I got for cheap its not a huge deal

I'm looking at using the new morimoto mini h1s with a 5500k bulb and a halo around the inside of the shroud. It'll be flat black with the projector shrouds painted ignot silver.
