Hello,
Look on page 63 of the 2015 Ford Mustang manual. The manual for the F-150 is not correct. I notified Ford of this and they blew it off. It is very easy, but make sure the buttons are facing down when you put the fobs in the holder under the plastic mat by the usb ports.

I took it into my local dealership (not where I purchased the truck) and they told me it would be $75 to connect the computer and then program the key (YEAH RIGHT!) I have tried [http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/vehicl...150&year=2015] but that did not help. I have tried the manual's instructions but they are totally wrong as they say you need a key to stick into the ignition (and this is push button start). I have called Ford Customer Service (no help there either). Anyone know something that I don't? Thanks!

I just ordered a spare key off of eBay for $109 and got it to program using the 2015 mustang instructions.

I was just able to get it to program with those instructions, key facing down is an important item. Thank you very much.

Interesting, I just programmed a spare intelligent Access Key and on my 2015 F-150 Lariat the buttons on my keys had to be up. After reading the instruction here I tried it first with the buttons down a couple times without success, then tried with the buttons up and it worked.

Ford has sure made this more difficult then it should be by getting the directions wrong in the manual.

I don't know why but my keys had to have the buttons up. Tried it with the buttons down several times and no luck, turned the key over and it programmed the first time.

I posted this quite a while ago on another thread.....if it helps, enjoy...

Maybe everyone knows this but..... when my Sync "instructor" walked me through all the features etc yesterday after delivery I asked if you can "pair" each of the two FOBs to a memory position (1 or 2) so when that holder of the FOB opens the car the seats etc are set to that person's settings.....I was told "no way to do that, you have to push either the 1 or 2 button!".

I looked in the Owner's Manual (V3) and the instructions of how to do it were "missing". I went to an earlier version and found how to relate the FOBS to a specific memory position as well as how to relate keypad IDs to them......here is how to do it....

Link FOB to Memory Position
Linking a Preset Position to your
Remote Control or Intelligent Access
Key Fob

1. With the ignition on, move the memory
features to the desired positions.

2. Press and hold the desired preset
button for about five seconds. You hear
a tone in about two seconds. Continue
to hold until you hear a second tone.

3. Within three seconds, press the lock
button on the remote control you are
linking.

Repeat this procedure for another memory
button and transmitter if desired.

To unlink a remote control, follow the
same procedure, but with step three, press
the unlock button on the remote.

Link Remote Access Code to Memory Position

Recalling Memory Positions (If
Equipped)
The programmed entry codes will recall
driver memory positions as follows:

• Entry code one will recall driver 1
memory positions.

• Entry code two will recall driver 2
memory positions.

• Entry code three will recall driver 3
memory positions.

Note: Personal entry codes four and five
will not recall memory positions

I recently bought a used Fiesta ST. It has push button start. They included 3 keys, 2 which worked, the third did not. Apparently they lost one key and found it later. Claimed they programmed it but did not. The service department had to program the key to the car. They did it for free since they included a non working key that they claimed was programmed.
