Default Possible compatible sync 3 part numbers

After reading and reviewing all the sync 3 information, is there a list of compatible touch screen and sync module part numbers (with and without navigation) we can use in the older 2015's? Understanding fully they would have to be coded to your specific vin.

What I'm getting at, is a friends friend totaled his 2016. My friend said he could probably get those parts but I want to make sure I have a list of numbers to verify it may be compatible.

Fingers are crossed but the ***** in the insurance companies court. 😕

Thanks

assuming it's a f150 then it would be a direct swap. There are two different screens. One with flat sides the other with an indentation. Both will work but the indentation one will require the brackets to be modified. Either non nav or nav apim will work.

Insurance company won't let it go. He's still trying but I'm not holding my breath.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the screen that fits and the sync 3 module w/ navigation?

I'm bummed now.

the screen you would be looking for has SA or SB as the last chars in the part number

the apim for nav for a '16 look for second to last char in the part number C or K. On a '17 look for C.

I am also curious about this. Will sync 3 systems from other vehicle models work for our trucks? Expolorer, fusion, mustang, etc.

If I wanna do this with a 2014 with sync and nav, do I only need to swap in the screen/system or will I also need the nav equipment from the newer truck as well?

Also, do the Sync 3 screens have the controls for heated and cooled seats. on the 2014 my seats are controlled through the screen, they do not have physical buttons like on the new trucks.

You need the screen and apim look for a screen with SC as the last chars then you don't have to modify your brackets.

Thanks Lucas!!! I appreciate the information. My uncle is a body guy and fixes up salvaged vehicles. The insurance company may have blocked me this time, but Ill pass the info to my Uncle.

He knows people at the salvage yards. 8)

Once I get the unit I need, how would I go about programing it?
