Dunno if it's still an issue, early Android auto with Samsung had issues and most turned out needed a high quality cable, there was a list online of approved cables. Bought one and been fine for years now

Received my new USB "C" Cords. Using the Orange one now and so far so good. I don't have the blue buffering circle when trying to stream Pandora, voice commands work.

The ONLY reason I like it is WAZE. I do not like that you lose the outside temp, and I like the factory nav look better. Also, sucks that I can not use factory nav when the phone is plugged in, I have to use maps, and my data.

It works fine, but I don't particularly care for it. I just use Bluetooth and have my phone mounted just to the left of the infotainment screen anyway. No menu screwyness, limited apps, or limited capabilities, it just works like normal because it is normal.
