Default A Plan

Has anyone used A plan for your new F-150 and how much did you save?

It is different depending on configuration. But you get all of the rebates plus a-plan price which is usually ~4% below invoice.

You also get all options discounted including OEM installed accessories (like wheel well liners, etc).

Are you a-plannable?

If he works for Ford Motor Co it's probably A Plan. If it's a Ford dealership it will be X Plan

Only until the end of the month! Ford is allowing aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, to use A-plan until June 30th. So you have 20 days to act.

(You won't negotiate a price lower than a-plan if that is what your questions meant.)

I believe the dealership discount is called D-plan, and is similar to a-plan. Edit, nevermind, D-plan = X-plan.

Edit #2:

D-Plan

Ford's D-Plan applies to dealer employees and family members.

How it's calculated: A-Plan + $100

Also, if your uncle generates a pin for you for a-plan, you'll have one year to decide to use it. So if you think you will buy in the next year, then have him generate you a pin before June 30th.

Here is a quick rule of thumb I use.
A plan = 8% off msrp
All other plans = 4% off msrp

Keep in mind that to get A plan, you or your spouse has to be the Ford employee. Otherwise, you get the other plan. Just went through this on my truck purchase.
Also, if you are using something other than A plan, be careful. You may be able to negotiate a better deal.
