In general I have been pretty impressed with the payloads I have seen-for most lariats/XLTs (the range I am looking at) it has been somewhere between 1600-1800. Definitely a big step up from the 1247 on my old F150.

Bump... A lot of deliveries showing up, what payloads are you seeing on your yellow stickers? Any 6.5' beds yet?

A little concerned because I saw a loaded 5.5' bed Platinum at the Silicon Valley Car Show today that had a payload only in the high 1300's. Sorry, could only get a glance because of the crowds but was definitely under 1400#. There was an XLT and Lariat, both were in the mid-higher 1500's I believe. All 4x4s.

Wow, I thought about looking at the '15 for the payloads but it doesn't look like I'll be able to get much past mine. My 2012 FX4 screw, 5.5bed, max tow, 36gal tank, fully loaded is just north of 1700lbs payload. I know the fx4 isn't a trim but I figure a lariat with the new body would be at least 1900lbs payload.

The HD Payload option should get you over 2000# with the Lariat, but it limits what other options you can apply.
