Our Aluminum Beds are not sealed...And there's more...
I just ripped mine out. Underneath I found gobs of silt that has already worn through the paint in some spots. It's been dry here, but if it rains you're going to get water up under there too

Not "solve" per se, but significantly diminish effects. I've been running a full BedRug for the last month and a half or so, topped with a BakFlip MX4, and there is nothing in the actual bed area itself that I didn't put in or go in with something I put in. The dust and water doesn't get past the liner, so anything that did manage to get through would just be in that tiny corner, underneath. Any water would then just drain back out per usual, so I MIGHT just have some dirt/dust hanging out under my liner, but certainly not enough that I am worried about it.
Well, all of us are Truck lover's and each of us have different truck needs. I just spent over $60k on a truck, and it does have the FORD Spray-In-Liner, and it leaks.
I just want to fix it from leaking, either thru my own means or thru FORD TSB.
This isn't a Who's-use-of-a-truck-is-better thread...! But if it was, I would WIN!
hehe! j/k

Ford needs to read these threads and realize they need to bring back the excursion! Sounds like a lot of guys don't need a pickup bed but a nice sealed off area for their luggage.
Ironically I work in forestry and I never have inches of dust on my gear when I get to the job site as I have no cover, I always wondered if canopies and tonneau covers created a more negative air pressure.
