I was unpleasantly surprised last week when we wentcamping. The camping spot was at the endofa long dusty road, and the truck bedand contents (with a spray in liner and folding cover) was thick with dust whenwe got to our camping location.Icechests, camping gear, chairs, cooking equipment, etc had a 1/8” coating of dirtover all of it.

Would a full cover BedRug liner solve this? The one that wraps up thee sides and tailgate?

Ford says no silicone, but if getting the bed spray lined then sealing the edges with silicone seems like it would be OK to me. No?
If you make your dog ride in the bed then she had much bigger problems than temp, water and dirt.

Not "solve" per se, but significantly diminish effects. I've been running a full BedRug for the last month and a half or so, topped with a BakFlip MX4, and there is nothing in the actual bed area itself that I didn't put in or go in with something I put in. The dust and water doesn't get past the liner, so anything that did manage to get through would just be in that tiny corner, underneath. Any water would then just drain back out per usual, so I MIGHT just have some dirt/dust hanging out under my liner, but certainly not enough that I am worried about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the bed become sealed after applying a line x or equivalent spray in liner?
