I plan on getting this on the 2020 when I order it. Does this come with the tailgate assist dampener?

I believe any gate with the step, includes the Damper...

but.. any gate with the Damper, does NOT include the step.

Arghhh, that's what I get for wanting another XLT, cheap me. The last two trucks I added the DeeZee to them. Guess I'll splurge and get an OEM one this time.

Cheap I'd you order the two parts separate. Search for the thread on it.

Lariat+ comes with the dampener.

Am I the only one that hates the dampener? I hate having to wait for my tailgate to take its sweet time to come down. When I open it I want it open damnit! lol
