It depends on your build date - mine was in August 2016 and was pre-loaded with v2.0.

I had to purchase the newer USB hub which only too 10 minutes to install.

Just plug in my phone and maps come right up.

If you have 1.0 then rumor has it an OTA update will be available late fall.
