Default Network Connection Needed

Please help me out. I'll be straight up, I'm an idiot when it comes to advanced technology.
Anyway, every time I start my truck this pops up.
How do I stop it?

I am assuming you have a 2019 F150 with Sync 3 v3.3. If so, you need to update to the latest version of Sync 3 v3.3 software available (Build 19052) through the Ford Owner website. The problem you described is a known issue and the latest software resolves this concern.

If you have a 2016-18 F150 with Sync 3, the latest software is v3.0 Build 19205.

You can find your software version by selecting Settings(from the Home Screen Ribbon)>General>About Sync

If he has a 2019 F150 without the latest Sync 3 v3.3 update, even that won't resolve the popup. It was a known issue with the v3.3 software.

Yes, I have a 19 f-150.
Ok, don't laugh...where do I find this software version?
Is it on the screen of my truck, my phone, my laptop?
Thanks for your reply.

Right. But is a new owner didn't try to connect, he would also get the message.

If you don't know much about technology it might be easier to just take it to the dealer and have them do the software update. It should be covered under warranty.

New owner and new to the forum here. The problem I'm having is that when I try to put the update files on a flash drive it give and error message when trying to copy the file named 4U5T-14G381-AN.tar.gz. I have tried different flash drives and have tried formatting the drive as exfat and as fat32. Any suggestions?
