Default Missing Payload stickers?

Hi
In the marked for a 2015-18 F150 Screw long bed but need decent payload. Called quite a few dealers and a lot of trucks are missing payload stickers. There is no curb weight and only GVWR listed. Anyone have a good way to figure out the payload? They arent local so its not like I can test drive them and stop by a scale. Can't understand why there are no payload stickers...
Thanks!

Were they removed or are the salesmen incompetent? I wouldn’t buy anything without the sticker.

Take this for example, payload is found on the yellow sticker.

They all should have payload stickers. It's the yellow sticker where tires PSI is.

Those stickers are designed to stay put, as they are now required by law on passenger vehicles. I'd pass on a truck that didn't have one as well.

So would I. The payload sticker is required by law, applied at the factory, and it doesn't just fall off. There's something wrong with a vehicle that's missing it. I'd be more likely to believe the people being asked to look at it don't know what the OP is talking about.

I have been through multiple conversations where they say the GVWR sticker that should be NEXT to it is the only sticker. My assumption is maybe the owners removed it since these are used trucks? Dont see anywhere it says not to remove them. I'm just not sure why they wouldnt be there...

They are looking in the wrong spot. Or at least that was the case when I was helping my sister look. They kept sending the white sticker with VIN and weights. That or they were idiots and didn’t realize payload is on the tire sticker so I had her start asking for the tire size sticker and suddenly got the right photos sent.

Didn’t the sticker move on later models too? Between the two doors? Instead of on the inside of the drivers? Or maybe moved to the outside of the drivers? Either way they just aren’t looking very hard.

My theory is that they just don't want to help.
Seems bizarre that multiple locations would a) not want to help or b) have these unicorns without a sticker. Which is more likely, you keep finding the trucks without a sticker or your calling a place that doesn't want to help.

If this time and place we live really does produce many vehicle salespeople who really do not want to work, then why would they go out of their way to attempt to bring you to their lot when the trucks they have are going to sell just the same to the buyer saying, Yep, I like that color, lets go ahead with the sale.

Salesperson, in my opinion, just doesn't want to go back and forth with an out of towner.

Or we can just keep doing what we do best -sit at our keyboard and call a stranger incompetent. Maybe you keep calling sales people unfamiliar with truck sales and payload isn't something they are used to dealing with. Could be a lot of things aside from name calling.

I was t-boned a few years ago and the repair shop failed to replace the payload sticker. It’s not uncommon for those to disappear over the life of a vehicle.
