When I was truck shopping, I found the 'internet team' less than competent. I always headed to the website, looked up 'sales team', found a seasoned sales person, and sent them an email. They did the work, hense 'seasoned'. Also, never show up taking the next in line. Have a seasoned salesperson awaiting you, your experience will be better at every level.

This. No sticker = accident truck.

You're not going to find one of those vehicles on a used car lot.

The internet team is not even in the same building as the dealership many times, so yeah they're pretty much useless. The dealership I sold for was part of an 18 store family, spread across half the state. Guess where the internet sales dept was located? About 15 minutes away from the closest store.

It's a pickup.

I've got LT tires, 10ply, and I'd put two of those safes in the back and not worry about it

And yet I have seen them at used lots, so...?

The people removing them aren't winning Concours d'Elegance. The vehicles at car shows run the gamut from ready for Mecum to mostly primered with a large sprinkling of rust.

You can order “door jamb data decals” on EBay. Weigh your truck and subtract weight from GVWR, that’s your payload. Provide all the information and order a new sticker.
