Default Lumbar adjustment

I have a 2020 STX and the manual seat lumbar minimum setting is still too far out than I need. Is there a why to lower the minimum setting?

I didn't really care for the position of the lumbar in my 19 either. Looked at the mechanism when I had the factory seat covers off to do the leather covers.
Other than skiving the foam down I did not see any way to mechanically retract the lumbar position. I removed the foam from the seat back to get a good look at it.

The factory leather seat covers do have a little more padding than the cloth covers. I find them a lot more comfortable on long hauls.

Lumbar in these trucks are intense even at lowest setting. There is a huge thread here somewhere with a fix.

My back couldn't get along with my seats in a 101A.
Not only was it excessive for my back but felt like the wrong spot. My fix was a 302A. If yours fully retracted is like the 101A Seats I feel your pain.

Thanks, not sure what 101A or 302A is .. my back is good for about an hour but after that the pain 😫 starts.. just need to lessen the lumbar rock even lower than the lowest setting...

The link I posted is for the manual lumbar adjustment. The adjustment cable is a bit short and so even when fully relaxed, the lumber adjustment is still tight. The pics show you how to unhook a clip inside that relaxes the lumber adjustment even further. There are two options afterwards. Fab a longer clip to keep the lumbar adjustment functional with a more relaxed state, or just leave the clip disconnected which pretty much disables the lumber adjustment wheel on the side of your seat. Good luck.

XL 101A is the required trim package for the STX Option. However you have manual lumbar adjustment (included with STX) like the SuperDuty XL and XLT 300A have on both seats. The thread linked has people with the manual seats as well. They use many of the same parts.

oh, outstanding, pardom me I saw the electric cables and mistook that for powered seats.
