Default Long trips

I'm impressed how comfortable the truck is on a long trip. Drove from Charlotte to Chicago for my Son's Navy boot camp graduation. 800 miles each way. Below was the return trip. Long single day drive

I concur. I know there are a lot of negative posts here, but I love my truck! The mileage on these things is incredible. This pic is from my trip to the Outer Banks in 2016, I was highly impressed. Even with the hand calculated versus computer calculated debate, the mileage is still fantastic for a truck that "can" pull 12K lbs.

We just did a short round trip to Michigan with our month old 2018. In the rain I was very impressed with the performance with the truck in " 4 A" all wheel drive mode in the rain. To avoid I-64 construction we took US-60 from Louisville, the truck handled the standing water and uneven surfaces so well it was like driving on dry roads. Still learning all the capabilities of the new ride as we only had 700 miles on the odometer when we started. The adaptive cruise control is a real nice feature too. Makes interstate and construction zone travel nice. You don't have to mentally calculate if the vehicle in front of you is slowing down or speeding up. You don't have to worry as much about rear ending someone either. In the stop and go of construction zones just shorten the "distance setting" between you and the vehicle ahead to prevent the people from "cutting in" on you. After all summer is "Orange Barrel" season.

Couldn't agree more. A few weeks ago we drove from Comox BC to north of 100 Mile House to pick up a new puppy. That includes a 2 hour ferry trip, mountain passes, avalanche areas, twisty roads, and open highways. Even after 9 hours in the truck, my adult son and I felt fresh and not feeling fatigued at all. So comfortable. On the way home he was in the back of our Super Cab with the pup, and everyone was happy on the way home, too. Rain, snow, dry pavement, it didn't matter, I always felt fully in control and super comfortable. love it!

I do love the comfort of the truck on long trips for sure! Had no issues doing the 11 hour 1200km (750 mile) trip to Brandon MB on one tank of gas, and still be able to do beer runs over the weekend before having to fill up lol
The wife's old car was so much better on gas, but a Fiat 500 is only comfortable for so long... I do find though that her new Rogue is just as comfortable as the F-150, plus her Bose stereo is miles better, and it gets 32 MPG! So now we take that on long trips unless we need to take the TT for camping of course...

Does your F150 have either Lane Centering or Adaptive Cruise Control? If so, your evaluation?
Thanks
