"All I know is that after 94k, nothing is "gummed up" by oil or anything in my engine/intake/pcv which was confirmed last week. So I'm quite happy not using one. Heavily modded engines that are run really hard might be a different story, but in my case of just driving and towing half my max weight, it's obviously not needed." Wrong. You have en EB so you have no business making overgeneralized claims. The Coyote is a completely different animal. Effective oil separator systems are a benefit to engines like the 5.0 and certain generations of GM LS's, even in N/A form. I have over 32oz of crud collected from my stock, N/A 5.0. Before I installed the can my TB started to gum up in 2k miles. I cleaned it, installed my system, and now 37k miles later my TB is still clean. Also my oil stays cleaner for longer. That is evidence of it's effectiveness whether you like it or not (can't argue with basic physics). These systems aren't for everyone, but don't go spreading misinformation about them.
