2016 5.0 Lariat SCrew. The dealership was short on 5.0s so the de-chroming will begin soon.
Running boards off now.
Husky Weatherbeaters all around.
Bug deflector and K&N 77, going on this weekend.
Wheels and tires are planned, probably Fuel Anzas and EDIT:Terra Grappler G2s with 35s or something close, but those can only come after there's room.
I don't need this thing to be huge. Originally I was considering a 2.5" level and leaving it at that, but I've heard the damage anything over 2" can do damage over time.
I don't want to waste the money on a level now and eventually go with a 4 inch lift later, so I wanted to hear opinions from you gentlemen (aka my wife's new worst enemies.) Pictures of your rig are greatly appreciated, and please translate any severe gearhead speak into lepers terms. Spent the years I should've been learning cars enjoying the Army and haven't picked all too much up.
Thanks guys.

Reason: Incorrect tire name
Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new truck. It looks great!
As far as I know, any level above 2.5" causes damage, not 2". I'm sure I'll be corrected if I am wrong there though.
When it comes to level or lift, I know other members have been able to fit 35s on a leveled 4WD so I think a level would make the most sense if you would rather not lift it.
The deciding factor can be if you lift your always going to stay at 4" or 6" or possibly bigger. Do the leveling kit and if you don't like it lift! Leveling kits are cheap and can be undone the lift is always going to be lifted.

Yeah, I was considering the same thing. The lifts look fantastic, but I'm not sure I want to commit to it for my DD before at least trying the level. Thanks.
I went with autospring 2.5" front and 3" rear block. I haul feed, sand, bedding, etc so I didn't want it to be nose high when I load it down or tow. I really want to do 4" lift now but it'll have to wait.

Save the 200 on the level and go to the lift. Trust me you will be glad you did. The last three pickups I've had I leveled them right after I bought them then turned around and bought lifts after only a few weeks haha. You won't find a single person who has lifted there pickup and said , "dang I wish it was lower" , but you will find many who say "damn I wish it was even higher!" , after they do a level.
I started with a 2.5" RC level and some 275/65/20s. Liked that for about a month or two then decided I needed spacers to get more poke.
Well, the spacers gave the look I wanted but rubbed the crash bars shiny, soooooo....
I decided I needed more lift, wider tires, and no spacers to fix the rub. So I bought some boss coil overs and some 35x12.5 nittos and took the spacers off, well that solved the rub but it looked too tucked again.
So back go the spacers, but that meant off come the crash bars, and some trimming of the wheel wells.
Anyway, when I walk up on it in a parking lot now, it still looks to short. So I wish I would of just bit the bullet and gone 4" lift at least.
That being said, I'm staying put cause a 4" lift wouldn't fit in my garage.
The windscreen for the noisy a** moon roof hits the trim of my garage now if I pull in with the moon roof open.
IMO, if you're considering a lift AT ALL - get the lift and never look back. That's what I've learned so far owning this truck.
