To lift or to level?

I know exactly what you're going through.
I started with a 2.5" RC level and some 275/65/20s. Liked that for about a month or two then decided I needed spacers to get more poke.
Well, the spacers gave the look I wanted but rubbed the crash bars shiny, soooooo....
I decided I needed more lift, wider tires, and no spacers to fix the rub. So I bought some boss coil overs and some 35x12.5 nittos and took the spacers off, well that solved the rub but it looked too tucked again.
So back go the spacers, but that meant off come the crash bars, and some trimming of the wheel wells.
Anyway, when I walk up on it in a parking lot now, it still looks to short. So I wish I would of just bit the bullet and gone 4" lift at least.
That being said, I'm staying put cause a 4" lift wouldn't fit in my garage.
The windscreen for the noisy a** moon roof hits the trim of my garage now if I pull in with the moon roof open.
IMO, if you're considering a lift AT ALL - get the lift and never look back. That's what I've learned so far owning this truck.

Lift it, I leveled my 14 and wished I lifted it.
My 2015 KR FX4 has the RC 4" suspension lift with Cooper Mastercraft MXT'S (35×20×12.5). I love the look and ride.

I went with a 2" level and 295/70r18's I think they are about 34.5" tires. No clearance issues, gets around the ranch a lot better now. Not so tall I cant get into my parking garage.

I've always stuck with a 2" level. Whether that be spacers, Bilstein 5100's or the like. Personal preference but a 2" level and tires gives the truck enough lift (for the type of offroading I do anyway) yet still retains easy in and out for typical every day use. That running board is at a comfortable height as a step into and out of the drivers seat.
Those 4" liftS do look awesome.

I did a 2.5" RC leveling kit to be bale to fit Mud Terrains (285/70R18) on the stock wheels. I then swapped wheels and really like the outcome. Any lift and I would not be bale to park inside my garage at home or work. It would also make it cumbersome to load the bikes using my ramp.
The other benefit of doing the lift is that you can do it yourself (did mine in about 4 hours). A lift kit will require an installer or hep from friends.
