2wd 2016 lariat... 2.25" ready lift leveling kit.. 295/65/r20 ridge grappler... 20x9 +20 fuel maverick... Some valence trimming and minor crash bar trimming was done.. Very clean trim.. Only rub is in reverse with wheel cranked to the left.. A little more trim up front and that will be gone. Overall pleased and a good fit. May eventually go up to a 3.5" sst kit or 4" lift but happy with the look for now!

If you tried what you're talking about the bolts would not line up. The other thing is when you're taking it out the bottom comes out first. It's a nice thought but what you're talking about just isn't possible.

Watch a YouTube video on installing a spacer and it will probably make a little more sense.
Thanks Mike, haha I was hoping there was an easier way of doing it, but that makes sense.

Also since this thread has been up and running for awhile now, i read it all last night and I'm still debating on the 2" or 2.5" auto spring or Rough country. I know these spacer levels are very basic and pretty much all the same but has anyone had any problems with theirs. And which would you recommend? I have a 2016 screw lariat 4x4.

They are all very similar. I used a supreme suspensions kit I bought on amazon only because I was impatient and wanted it shipped to me in 2 days.

Here's a good install video BTW

Another option to consider if you don't want to jack with a spacer and dont want to spring for fox coil overs is the rancho quicklift.

You basically pull the old strut, put in the quicklift, bolt it up and you're good to go.

...same process just you don't have to jack with getting the bottom bolts out of the factory strut to get it back in.

Rancho Quicklifts up front with Fox 2.0 rear shocks. Hostile Exile 20x9 +10 with Nitto Ridge Grappler 33x12.50r20. No crash bar mods, no rubbing anywhere!

Thanks for the kind words-->

I'm gonna try to install Wheel-Well liners today, read where others had trouble trying in the cold!!! Also can't get the wheel flares on (Already tried) because of the cold, very frustrating.

Rancho quicklifts installed this week.. love the ride over stock with much less body roll when turning and love the look. Added 275 65 20 Duratracs and just ordered 1.5 wheel spacers to get tires untucked.
