Default Leveling Kit

So... the local shop just talked me out of a leveling kit for 16', they say the steering wheel may come out a little catiwampas after alignment .
No thanks I'll stick with stock.

I have had a RC leveling kit on my truck for almost a year and the steering is just fine and my shop aligns my truck perfect every time I go in for a rotation.

The shop could be correct. MUST have alignment after install of a level kit. If steering wheel is catiwampas then alignment will fix that. Mine was slightly off and after alignment "poof" like magic its back to factory.
Check out my alignment report here:

Any time you mess with your suspension, you need an alignment.

We have done a lot of 2015+ F150's...Leveling, Prerunner, Long travel etc...and after an alignment is done, no complaints!

There are a lot of guys on this Forum with leveling kits and no issues.

They told me if this were the case I would need a dealer part called "control arm jam bolts".... what ever they are. I love the look of a level truck with the option of getting a larger wheel tire combo but this should not cost $450... with maybe another $200 for said parts. Thanks for the input, I'll keep looking as a lot of folks here are not having issues.

2016 FX4 Lariat (build date July 2016)
$60 for 2" Motofab level kit
$130 Install performed by Ford dealer's accessory shop.
Firestone shop did $84 alignment and printout with 12 month warrantee. I love it. Looks good rides drives like day I took delivery. Let go of wheel and it tracks straight as an arrow. Smoothest riding best driving vehicle I have ever owned.
