LED lights
forgive the naivety here.... all my other vehicles already have LED lighting
my 2018 SCrew XL (SXT) has halogen bulbs for the headlights and fog-lights. and incandescent for the other bulbs (tail, interior, chmsl, turn, etc).
my question is, can i just purchase some decent LED lights and they are "plug and play"?? or is there a bunch of stuff that needs to be done (like the installs of HIDs ) like wiring, ballasts etc?
i was looking at something similar to these:
any suggestions at to which LEDs are good and will fit?
thanks!

A good place to START. A lot of guy's have went with the Diode Dynamics also. Price, fans/no fans and other things come into play also. I'm sure others will add more info.
Read up at the links that Old64 supplied. I did and I have completed the lighting upgrades on my STX, and everything looks and works great. Some issues:
1. I needed the LEDs I used in the stock reflector halogen headlight housings to mimic the light pattern of halogen and project properly, so as not to glare other drivers.
2. I obviously don't want hyperflash or other errors due to using LEDs in an incandescent fixture (note "error free' in the descriptions of the smaller LEDs)
3. In order to make some of the customizations (specifically with my turn signals/DRLs), I needed to get Forscan software and ODB adapter working (see FORScan sticky).
4. The Ford manual specifies 3156 bulb for reverse lights, but mine needed 7443, not sure why

Here is my install. I used PIAA Gen 3. Its a PITA on the low bean cause the ballast is large. DDs are an easy quick install. I also put 9005 LEDs in my Fogs with a quick mod.
You will need to shut off the DRL feature in the cluster settings OR use Forscan to change the DRLs to high beams or the fogs. I changed mine to the fogs and here is why. It uses full voltage so no flickering. The fogs are easy to change and the fog light bulbs do not have a rear cover. They get fresh outside air to cool the LED heat sink. The headlamps do not. So it would be heating up the housing and recirculating that hot air. I think driving around with the fogs on is OK. It's a dated look maybe, like rockin an 84 Camaro or something. Like your trying to be Joe Cool driving around with only your fog lights on but I want the DRL for safety (foggy days when auto lights don't come on) so I had to choose the lesser of two evils. You could also change them to parking lights but then they would be on all the time. Day and night. I think you can also do the turn signals, which would look like an 07-2012ish Tundra.

For regular LED bulbs, Use Sylvania Zevo. Brightest ones you can get easily. I also Forscan my turns to not hyper flash and run Diode Dynamics switch backs. My usual choice is Philips Ultinon LEDs from Japan but the newer Zevos are about just as good if not the same.
I ran a 12V wire from the batt to the rear and ran PIAA Back up lamps. ( I had them already) but these Hella would work well with no need for a relay.

Every bulb in my truck is LED except the PIAA back up lamps.

This is the reason I went back to a truck with LED from the factory. I tried the different bulbs and none of them matched the factory LED. I drive to work every morning in the dark so having good lighting is important
