Default LED headlight question

im sure this has been asked a thousand times in some form , but I am leasing a 2017 XL SXT and I hate the yellow base headlights . I don't want to change housings since it's a lease. Are LED going to be pretty terrible in the OEM housings ? Anyone with experience doing this or should I just leave it alone and deal with it.

I just finished reading through this tread by BlackBoost. He did some very good research and shared it with us here.
There are tons of LEDs out there, so take some notes as you read. By the end of the thread there are several others that have used the same set up as BB with good results.

This is the latest LED option that is the best that I have seen thus far. I recently installed these and am very pleased with the output. Check out the thread. These are made in USA and is a top quality product by a vendor on here.

does anyone know if this kit is needed to relocate the ballast outside? Is the pigtail wire really needed of is it long enough to install the ballast outside without it?

Thanks! Yes I was sick of getting blinded by people installing inferior kits that would scatter and blind people so I thought I would do research and inform people. And also, I didn't want to be that guy blinding others either.

I've had the LED's installed for over a year now, with DRL's on all the time, and I've had no issues. They've been through 2 very cold Canadian winters and some hot summer days and they're still working perfectly

Can't beat the price for these either!
