I search supercab/extended cab and it includes super crew
I search 4x4 and it includes 2 x 4
I search 2.7 EB and results include 3.5 EB

I sure feel stupid........tell me how to weed out the unwanted search results

if I can snag the PCO @ $3000 .....I might get off my dead *** and get a new ride ( like my wife has been encouraging me to do )
Agreed, Ford's website isn't as robust as one would expect. Even if you build a truck to your spec, and then search dealer inventory, the 'close' or 'suggested' matches aren't even close the spec. It doesn't even allow you to filter the EB engine?!

I'm sure they purposely make it difficult to find the truck you want.

They don't want you flying across country to get the truck of your dreams. They'd much rather you visit your local dealership and find one that's close to what you want.

It'd be awesome if we could just order the trucks we wanted, and have them delivered to our driveways, but we're probably a long way off from that.

if you call Ford customer service they can search specific options. But their thing is state by state, not radius. And if there are thousands of similar trucks nation wide they aren't going to go through all of them for you. When I called they found 2 exactly the way I wanted within 4 nearby states. But have since found a couple more that are actually closer in other states, just by using auto trader and narrowing. Of course that depends on if the sales person who listed the options actually did it right. Some of them just check all the options boxes so it ends up not even being close to what it says it is.

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this quote. So this is a quote I received from "Military Auto Source". They "help" soldiers build their vehicles while deployed and have it shipped to wherever they are based out of. I arrived in country and I thought it was a great service since they advertised "$6,000 off", which made it appear like a great deal, and delivers the truck to where you are based out of. That is until I read this forum. This angers me now. So many soldiers walk through that door every single day ordering trucks. What is even more ridiculous is when I made this quote he said the "rebates" were the highest he has seen them at $6,000 and I should order it asap before the rebates drop. The "rebates" just dropped down to $4,000 and people are still ordering. That is a whole whopping $4,000 off full MSRP. At the time it seemed like a great deal but since I have found this forum and educated myself I realize how terrible it is.

Picked her up today. Stone Gray Lariat. Dealiars had her detailed before I got her and wow what a truck. Inside and out. Really no comparison to the competition. Big shout out to Top, helped me out along the way, answered my questions and helped me run the math. Huge help, Thank you. Also, big shout out to my wife for letting me buy a truck the day before Mother’s Day. Love u

How awesome - it's sort of like celebrating Father's Day on Mother's Day.

Military Auto Source appears to truly be a Scam taking advantage of our Military. They're like a Dealiar Fox in a Sheep suit.

So I finally got the final update to my first truck purchase. Ford honored my 3k PCO after I bought my truck from a SoCal dealer!

Going to deposit this bad truck and complete my refi
Good deals can happen to those in California if you are patient and take the time to do the research to read this forum.

Let me start by saying I know I'm not the sharpest marble in the bag I have only exchanged an email to get the window sticker and have not been to this store.....Can someone help me on this truck, I'm in central Illinois zip 61571 and can't seem figure all these retail customer cash offers this dealer is listing. Here is a link to the truck and another for the window sticker. I do also have a $1,000 private cash offer from Ford and should get the Ford loyalty. I'm not a veteran or first responder college etc.

Thanks ahead of time for any and all help.
