In my area it's only $750 on the 2018s. Still worth it to take it and then refinance or pay off! Really a no-brainer. Plus, I think it sounds good to the dealer because they know they'll a second crack at squeezing some money out of you in the finance office. If you're one of those hard line "I'm only paying straight up cash" guys then you're only hurting yourself.

May I suggest you pound a few down. It'll feel better until you wake up.

Why don't you hold off until that one $1,250 rebate expires on 10/31. Ford may surprise everyone and double down with it.

I was wallowing in self pity last night when my wife brought in the mail. I saw 3 ford brochures; F150, Focus, Fusion. With sweaty palms I opened the brochures F150-nothing, Focus-nothing, Fusion-BINGO. I got my $750 back. Woohoo!!

Since I never learn from the past I thought I might wait till 10/31 and see if my luck holds out with better financing or better incentives or both..

Life loves to mess with us sometimes doesn't it? That is so great!

LOL, I hear you about not learning. Greed sure has a stronghold many times.

I'm not a betting man but I figure that single Incentive Program with the 10/31 expiration was strategically left there by Ford in some regions (because I just checked one member had all listed as 1/2/18) so they could see how Sales are at that time and choose to leave it the same or increase it and give it a 1/2 expiration along with the rest. I doubt they'll pull it because that would confuse things too much since other regions would still have that same program.

I say go for it - you're on roll now!

Yup, I'm helping a guy out that lives near me and heard him saying he was looking to buy a leftover 17 Ford Edge for Cash so he wouldn't need the $1,250 FMC offer. I wanted to club him over the head. I had to actually explain to him that would be the dumbest mistake. I told him take the loan and pay it off as soon as you get the paperwork from FMC. Then he told me how he got such a great deal because he's got the Dealer to Invoice. Where's that headbanger emoji....

I've got him down another $750 of the $1,150 Holdback now and he's amazed because he thought he had a great deal. The Dealer won't go any further - Dealers here in the Northeast Suck!

Pat, I realize those are numbers, so I can't buy a vowel. Is there a '3'?

As I watch Vanna White closely standing alongside my monitor bezel - hoping for her to head over to the numbers and flip some of the question marks to reveal a few 3's, she disappoints with no movement at all.

Pat chimes in "No, I'm sorry toptobottom, there are no '3's'.

With no specific details and not even full numbers - posts like this are really meaningless.

What really amazed me is there's guys here looking for a Dealer to quote at least $500 less and you passed up $1,250 Ford Motor Credit that could have been refinanced in a day for that same percentage.

$43 OTD - now that's what I call an outrageous deal! I would've offered them $100 and thrown in a $25 tip to the Sales guy.
I am typically higher than this in interest rate. The credit union had a one week only promotion that helped me get to that. You have to finance with Ford for 30 days per the salesman at-least. So it wasn't the best option for me as I would have refinanced for a higher rate and ended up paying the $1250 to the CU.

And you believed the Salesman? Sure, for them to see a Ford kickback you need to go past 30 days. That's what they hope will happen. If you payoff before that I'm presuming they get nothing from Ford.

The Installment agreement reads:

"You may prepay all or part of the unpaid part of the Amount Financed at any time without penalties."

DCU has 2.24% for 65 months with Direct Deposit account setup all the time.
Without Direct Deposit they're 2.74%

I had my refi set up before I bought the truck. had the amounts approved etc. bought on a Saturday and tried to refi on Monday. But my account wasn't created with Ford yet my CU called that Thursday and got the payoff and it was done within the week.

Default Aged Inventory back 10/20-10/31 YMMV

My turn to give some back to the forum.. While browsing some of the dealer websites in the DFW area, I noticed an "Aged Inventory". Looks like it's back for a very limited time.

Question: is this incentive tied to the area of purchase or area where you register?

If it is based on zip where you register, how else can I pull this incentive up to find out?

http://en.dupontdupontford.com/new/ford/f-150/2018-black-xlt-5668384.html

Good day, I live in the Ottawa/Gatineau area (Canada) and am looking for a new 2018 F150.

The link above is the trim model I'm looking for, and it is priced at $44954. Unhaggle has the MSRP for a 4x4 Supercrew XLT 145" @ $40 599, with the average person paying $39 053.

I seem to be on the Canadian variant of the unhaggle site. Any canucks out there have experience with 2018s? If I could get ballpark close to 40 000 for this truck before taxes I would be very interested, particularly as financing is 0% right now. Free winter package as well! All my research points to getting only 1500-2000 dollars total off the price of a new 2018 though.

Great forum and thread btw. Any help would be appreciated!
