So I'm blocked for posting 3 issues that I am asking if there are workarounds for? A member is stating they aren't issues when they clearly are. There are people on here posting how to add diodes and resistors to this or that to enable a lost feature. This was my motive, not to get into a griping match with someone who doesn't know what auto means. If I didn't want the truck I would have went with something different. My statement was in hopes for a workaround. I don't want negativity either, just a fix for these things.

Please, someone resolve this. Where in all the Ford F-150 literature does it say "Auto folding mirrors". I've order the "Power folding mirrors" which definitely requires the driver to touch something just like all the other "power" options.

I give up too, every damn thing on this forum turns into a huge ****ingg pissing match. If I do figure out how to get all the doors to unlock when the truck is put in park and still running I damn sure wont post up how I done it...Because Ill get 20k comments about "Oh, just turn the truck off and open your door and they will unlock" or another 75k comments about "How hard is it to push the unlock button, this is pointless..."

I still remember reading about the bambi mod ect that these new fools will never know about...

No, you are correct; we have power folding mirrors, but, again, as others before me have commented, we are wondering about AUTO folding mirrors. That's it! How to make them auto fold. Not press a button, automatically fold on park. The explorers apparently have it, as well as other vehicles out there. Can it happen on these F-150s?

Man, for real. Heck I thought this was where I was supposed to post a thought, suggestion, or question and get a factual answer.

It might help if Ford is reading this to know some people don't like the way they have set up these trucks. I'm sure if they really wanted too they could let us program things to work the way we want and not being stuck with what Ford thinks we should have. Like the folding mirrors how hard would it be for them to give us the choice. I for one would like them to auto fold on engine shutdown some times but not other times, let me pick when. This isn't a big deal like the little cup holders or crappy seats but still for what we pay for these trucks they could make them a lot more user friendly.

And maybe do more testing on things like the seats, little cup holders etc. after all if no one complains than they will be making them even more cheaply and charging even more.

I would love to love my truck but the little things that bother me bother me.

Nice, I keep mine under the steering wheel, picture below.

Ive Looked through this post but my biggest PP is when I put the truck in park, the doors dont unlock. I end up hopping out to get something out the back seat or the bed and have to walk back and unlock the freaking doors. Can this be fixed? Coming from a Chevy I guess I'm spoiled because when the truck is put in drive they lock and when you put it in park they unlock. But this is the only complaint about the truck!!
You can change that: From the manual, under LOCKS:

You can enable or disable these features
independently of each other using the
information display. An authorized dealer
can also help you enable or disable these
features. See General Information (page
103).

Totally agree! That's all I was trying to say as well. Good Lord, isn't this how improvements are made to groundbreaking products? Isn't this a forum?

The mirror issue is just a quirk, something we'd like control of; no different than putting a superchip for enhanced performance. Because how important is the "Rear Park Aid - On/Off" selection that pops up on the screen? That automatically appears on the display once you put it in reverse. I was hoping we could have a similar option when put in park - pop up that's asks to keep mirrors out, but default to auto fold. Or have the option to do exact opposite.

Negative,

Autolock and Autounlock (If Equipped)
The autolock feature locks all the doors
when your doors are closed, the ignition is
on, and your vehicle reaches a speed
greater than 12 mph (20 km/h).
When your doors autolock while driving,
stopping the vehicle then switching the
ignition off or to accessory and opening
the driver door unlocks all your doors
.
This
autounlock feature remains active for 10
minutes after stopping.

I want my doors to unlock when I put the truck in park and the truck still running, because if I hop out to get something it doesnt unlock unless I kill the truck.
