Default Hellcat Ram?

If this is going to production, we may finally see the 5.0 TT I've been waiting for!

I think they say you can empty a Hellcat Challenger/Charger fuel tank in 20 minutes. Makes me wonder about the actual viability of this for production.

The Ram is a concept and apparently not street legal. Any way hopefully Ford begins updating the 5L next year.

Raptor killer but doubtful that it would go into production for a street legal truck as is, if it makes it into production, I'd expect it to be tamed down.

I welcome the competition. A couple points:

1) super heating the engine in the dirt is a bad idea. LOTS of supercharged Raptors have burnt to the ground. Short blasts are fine but it wouldn't last if you ran it hard.

2) 2.5 shocks aren't enough, as proven by the lighter 2nd gen Raptor going to 3.0s.

3) with all the extras it's at least 6000lbs. The ADD guys have already said the gen2 Raptor is faster than a Roush gen1 - which is essentially what this is (with a better rear diff and better brakes).

Wow, looks like someone has been paying attention. I love everything about that. Raptor competition is good for everyone. I see they made a dig about the V8 sound, if it takes off maybe Ford will bring a V8 option to the table

The typical Chrysler approach....mask too much weight & a bad chassis with more HP!

Just awesome but I agree with others here, we'll never see that truck maybe something like it though....
