Ford has not announced that... definitely not 2016.
GM is doing well from CarPlay... it's about the only thing that would make me look at a GM.
We're not there yet, but we're about 2-3 years from many, many folks making the decision on which car to buy based by which mobile platform it supports.

I think I am already there...first one that lets me put my iPhone on the nav screen and control it with Siri gets my business.
No restrictions...if passengers want to watch YouTube, that is my business!
Ford nav still tells me that I am entering unknown area when I am on roads that have been there for 100 years. And they want $150 for upgrades.
