Default Getting "flashed" a lot

I get flashed while driving at night. Are our headlights particularly bright? I assume people coming at me think my brights are on. I am wondering if I should take it to the dealer to have them check and make sure they are aimed correctly. Is this something that I can do a quick check on my garage wall?

Is the truck stock? If you leveled the front end or have a heavy load in the bed or towing they need to be realigned.

Mine were aimed too high when new. They are very easy to adjust.

Based on your thread title it doesn't sound like you have a problem....

Adjust them with a full tank of gas and throw 50lbs of weight in the bed.
Small flathead screwdriver in the hole on top of the headlight assemblies can adjust them. Just look in the hole and you'll see a gear inside. Clockwise goes up.
Find a flat parking lot behind a store with a big wall, bring tape. Park 5 feet from the wall, mark the cutoff with tape. Back up 30 feet, cutoff should be lower. How low depends on where you drive to be honest, and if you have lots of hills. Pretty flat here so I just adjust as needed. If I find them too low on a dark highway I bring em up a bit.

I adjust them often in spring and fall because in the summer I have them pointed way down since it's bright until 10-11PM and I tow a lot in the summer so I don't want to blind people when the trailer is hooked up (daytime running lights too).

The headlights are not necessarily aimed at the factory. They are installed in such a way that they should be fairly close to correct. If the dealership where you bought it is conveniently located, I'd swing by and have them aim the headlights accordingly. They should do that for no charge.

I'll take it in to Ford and have it checked.

Like the others... I'd check your headlamp alignment.

I get flashed too... but only because I replaced my factory Halogen fogs with 10,000 lumen's of 6k LED power. (2, 5000 lum bulbs)
