The numbers are way off considering they posted inaccurate “stock” HP and Torque numbers.

The outcome may not change, but the comparison leaves a lot to be desired. The trim model and cab configuration (extended vs. crew cab) should have been the same for all 3 trucks.

The weight differences between the cab configuration is pretty meaningless, 2%.

The weight of the trims I'm not sure about, and I'm also not sure about the gear ratios.

This isn’t a good test. FI responds better to tunes. They might as well supercharge the v8 and then test. Poorly written and tested. Doesn’t even list the right HP of the truck’s. Hack job.

Some people can never be pleased. They did a huge amount of free work, and most of the comments are negative.

The video is obviously an advertisement for 5 Star Tuning. Nothing wrong with that idea. However, the company contributed to the video using a poorly managed test, different configurations, published the wrong stock performance information and we should be pleased with the results. In fact, the 2.7L driver mentioned that he fell asleep (well late start) at the beginning of the 2.7 to 3.5 comparison and it was not repeated.

I mean, at-least they controlled the colors of the trucks.

My bet was they did not want to show the tuned 2.7 only losing by half a car length to the 5* tuner's crown jewel 3.5 with some crazy tune on it.
