Those numbers may be from their dyno test, but are way different from factory ratings. I still think the 2.7 would have been closer or possibly beat the 3.5 by a hair if they ran a a few more passes, at least as far as their tests went.
Is the chart in Post #2 torque measurements at the drive wheels? and who edits?! this stuff... no way the 2.7 EbBstock output betters the 3.5EB...
Need to read the graph - the 3.5Eb is around 330 hp stock. Stock torque shows around 405-410. The numbers they used were what the stock engine made @ the Tuned engines peak - RPM wise.
Makes for a more impressive comparison. Interesting that the 2.7 was the 0-60 champ stock. And stock or tuned the 2.7 beats the 5.0 0-60 & 1/4 mile.
They under reported the 2.7 also, it was 316 hp stock. And around 395 ft/lb torque stock @ peak.
The 5.0 hp figures are correct as shown above, but Torque peak is closer to 360 ft/lb stock.
Thanks for the Video that 3.5 Eco Boost was a beast with a tune and pretty good stock!!I just think the 2.7 Eco Boost Truck should have also been a Crew Cab like the other 2 trucks not a Super Cab!!

They never mention axle ratios/ different cab configs and I’m sure they tested at high elevation as usual which kills any chance for the 5.0.
5Star is a tuning company therefore they don’t like the V8 because they can’t ram tons of extra air in with turbos. Trucks aren’t about speed though, poorly done test.
