Bob, just FYI you can close the windows by just holding the lock button. You don't need to push it twice like you do to roll down

I meant the gears showing up on the 8" productivity screen. This is accomplished today by pressing gear up on the shifter but goes away once the car is turned off and on again.

Mine intermittently goes away, just have to push + on the shifter to bring it back. Definitely not every restart. Has happened maybe 4 times since August.

I did mine with a Hypertech speedo calibrator since I had that prior to getting IDS so I don't have the PCM DTC.

I didnt think on the 15+ that it could be changed with IDS as the dealers cant change it. thats why a speedo calibrator or forscan(with a DTC). has this changed with IDS versions?

I read that too but haven't personally verified it in IDS.

Asked about this months ago. Don't believe anything has been found to date. If so please let us know.

There's many of us who have done this upgrade and none of us have gotten auto climate to work so unless you already previously had auto climate before the swap I don't think auto climate will work.

If you got it to work on an XLT please share the solution.

On my XLT auto climate will simply set the current temperature to max fan speed.... But at no time does the auto climate readjust the temperature or fan speed on its own.

Mine does exactly that. Auto does work. I set it to 70 degrees, it maintains 70 degrees. It auto adjusts speed, which vents it comes out of, etc. I can feel it mixing hot/cold to keep temp the same. Auto definitely does not "simply set the current temperature to max fan speed" on mine.

I have an XLT 302A. The bezel came out of a Lariat 501A. All I did was load my as-built from my 302A FCIM into the 501A FCIM using ForScan.

The only functions that do not work are heated seats and dual temperature. Everything else works just like it should.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. Can the vehicle be running (parked for any lawyers) while doing this? Much nicer if I can be in a toasty warm interior.

I've done programming with & without engine running.
