My truck won't fit in garage but this video made me think twice and untie the handle on my garage door opener release latch inside:

This was a big deal on the news a couple years ago around here. Not because of this but a couple years ago my conventional garage door opener took a dump and I installed a jackshaft. They are freeking awesome, I will never go back to a regular garage door opener again. This thing is nearly silent, all you hear is the rollers on the door. It has remote lighting, battery back up and an automatic dead bolt system that locks the door at the track. No overhead components so you have all you're ceiling space and it only took me about 45 minutes to install. I would highly recommend anyone that has to replace their opener to get this style.

It should work...I haven't seen anyone with Sync 2 say those values are wrong.

I've been absorbing all of this info and got into the software this week to make 7-8 changes. Very cool. Thanks so much for everybody's hard work and research.

My question:
Has anyone researched if it's possible to have the vehicle default to "Sport Mode" upon startup? I apologize if this has been addressed already, but I tried searching all 600 pages of this thread and couldn't find much that was relevant.

Thanks Again to all who have contributed.

If this setting exists it's in the PCM module that can't be programmed with FORScan.

Thinking I should have more modules show up. Specifically looking for the IPC Module. Are these not showing up because it is a Canadian truck or does it have to do with the adapter that I am using? I am using an OBD2 SX scan tool. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It's because of your adapter, it doesn't have MS-CAN capability so those modules are all you're gonna see with it.

Here's one that'll work and won't break the bank: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F0GVBWY

When you do get a new adapter and use it for the first time in FORScan, make sure you say no when FORScan brings up your truck's profile so that it tries to rediscover all the modules.

I have a PC without Bluetooth. What is the best bluetooth adapter and the correct one?
Should I get 2.0 or4.0 and what is the best brand?

Thanks!
