If anyone really wants to know, I just googled 'DanMc85' because he's already everywhere of importance to Ford owners.

I mean; it's literally on page 1 of a Google query, LOL. You just have to figure out which thing is unlike the others... 'in Soviet Russia Ford drives you'.

These are a few reasons why I didn't post a link to it before:

1. Like previously stated, there is not a profile for our trucks in it so its usefulness to us at this time is limited.
2. There are 2 guys that seem to be running this company and because this thread here is now followed by many people with other model Fords, this link will end up on multiple other forums. The downside to this that I saw was that it would take the time away from these 2 guys in filling international orders & answering emails and further delay the time before a profile for our trucks is included in an update. This isn't just a piece of software, it's also a proprietary usb adapter that they ship out and the software will only work with this adapter.

I for one trust your instinct. I think this software could possibly do more harm than good when not in the right hands until there is a specific profile.

Livinup, DanMc85, (specifically DmanMc, as this is HIS pic) How do you enable this usb port on the back of the apim? Any way to figure it out? FORScan, IDS?

I'm not sure if this port on the back is referred to as USB2 or not but maybe this is it:
7D0-01-02 xAxx xxxx xxxx - USB2 enabled (HMI will be enabled)
7D0-01-02 x2xx xxxx xxxx - USB2 not enabled (HMI will be not be enabled)

Edit: Here's one for Aux Input installed/not installed also (again, not sure if this is that usb port)
7D0-01-01 xxxx x1xx xxxx - Aux Input Installed: present
7D0-01-01 xxxx x5xx xxxx - Aux Input Installed: not present

Hey guys,

I just got into the TRM's as built format and quickly realized that I have no idea how to decipher the code. I've been told it mainly deals with the trailer lights, but was hoping somebody has some experience deciphering/altering the TRM codes and could give some guidance.

Is the main way of deciphering codes comparing codes between different trucks? I've looked up multiple different truck trm codes through https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt and they were all the same.

I've been thinking about this because I have a spare USB module--the stock one I replaced to enable CarPlay, the For Sale thread for which is dormant--that I could just throw in the truck somewhere just to have charging and access to media, but no advanced features. I just don't know what the cables cost. Apparently both cables are required for the module to do anything... i.e., it won't charge with just one cable. See this thread.

Which of these do you really want to change? I didn't bother to map this module because there doesn't seem to anything useful.
