It's called Slam Lock... essentially it's a security feature that locks the door automatically after you close it.

So if you open a door and then shut it, it should lock automatically.

My results were the same as @robbieg... So now I can confirm it does not do anything in the XLT as well

What is the specialized adapter and software out of curiosity??
I don't want to post a link to it just yet because F150s are not listed among the vehicles supported in it yet. It has mappings of options for other vehicles for their modules so there's gonna be a lot of trial and error on which settings actually work on our trucks. I have offered the software makers a large sum of $ to hurry up and include our trucks in their database. This software is very powerful and can flash firmware to modules so it's not something to take lightly messing around.

Don't blow out your rig's flux capacitor.... Looking forward to your findings!

Will the global widow feature work on an XLT? Or do you need a certain option pkg or build level for it to be added? Been reading this for a while now my MX is in the mail!

It only works on the front windows if you have a Scab or Screw.

Is there an easy method for converting the text in *.abt files to addresses and hex values? I was wondering about doing that as a way to compare original to modified values, as well as for offline editing.

Try this program: http://compulsivecode.com/Project_AsBuiltCompare.aspx

It allows you to load 2 different .abt files and then compare the values.

A HUGEEE Thank you to everyone and their hard work finding out all these awesome add on's to our trucks. Feels like an even more luxurious ride than when I bought it.

1 thing I haven't manged to figure out on my own; I switched to the Lincoln Brown theme because it looks awesome. But I'm not loving the "Lincoln" start up screen. I tried the other style start up screens with no luck, It takes the entire Lincoln theme away. Ultimately I'd like the default "Ford" start up screen with the Brown Lincoln Theme. Has anyone managed to do something like that?
