Is there a way in Forscan to remove entirely the Android-Auto functionality? I totally removed it from my phone but when I plug in the phone I still have to put up with the phone trying to make me use it again and all the pauses and screen blips and such until it realizes it will not get another sucker and goes away. I hate this application so bad that it makes my blood boil to even be reminded of it I want it totally out of my life like it never existed. TIA!

On my 19 limited I changed the code for the Fake eng noise ACM 727-01-01 (X0XX) like stated and I still hear it----I switched it back to 2 (default on) and it sounds the same to me, any guesses to what is going on?

Toggle the switch to HS-can. See the arrows on the OBD plug side? Connect with that setting then watch for the prompts from FORscan. It also helps to thoroughly read the tutorial and watch the videos before you do anything.
Thanks for the fast reply . I do have the switch on that setting . This drivinyme nuts

Try setting "connection type" to FTDI. I forget why but it's where mine is and I have no troubles. If you look through the Forscan forums you will find a lot of this info and better understand the reasons why. But if you are like me and have old timers you'll soon forget. There is a post on the forum that goes through how to tune your connection. Not that mine was slow but after the tweak it's instantaneous.
