All the others say "no changes do you want to continue anyway?"

The truck threw a check engine light. Over boost code. They could do little with their programmer cause of the changes I made. They could not do a key on test they said. Their system recognized that the PCM module had been tampered with but all my changes were stupid little ones for DRLs, Window roll up/down, Bamabi mode and some audio changes to run an amp. Nothing targeting the PCM So I am going back to stock and I want to make sure everything is as stock as can be.

Should I do an initialization on the PCM??? Like I said it acts like the original is different every time I load it. The manual here says that Forscan cannot modify the PCM, so maybe it was just because Fords version saw that it was not the original configs in general and denied working with it?

Second thing I noticed is that the reminder chimes work through my Audio Control 5 channel amp till the amp shuts off. Once that happens, when the system goes to make chimes (door open, lights on etc) it does not see the amp or a load like a speaker and it diverts the chimes to a beeper module behind the instrument cluster. The reverse parking assist warnings also go through that beeper in the dash but it partially mutes the stereo. Thats really kinda fine with me since when its through the amp it is a bit loud. Just something to point out.
You can’t change anything in the PCM, nothing you did caused the issue. Your dealer is either full of crap or an idiot. If they couldn’t talk to the PCM they would not have been able to pull codes.

Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered, but I searched and I couldn’t find anything. I have updated my truck to Sync3. When I connect my phone and use CarPlay, the bluetooth becomes unavailable. Is there any way to make bluetooth and carplay available together?

Do you have a Sirius subscription and what is your ACM value for 727-01-01 currently?

I know they saw the code so, they were able to see something. It sounded like they were looking for a history, like a log file of event codes.

Does anyone know what a "key on test" is? they said they could not perform this test.

There are two different power train key test. KOEO is key on engine off self test. KOER is key on engine running self test. These are test that run different modules and engine sequences to see if everything is detected as working correctly. Typically the KOEO test can be run anytime but the KOER test has to be performed with the engine at normal operating temperature.

I just got the truck on Wednesday. It is used. The dealer gave me three months of Sirius, but I don’t care about it. I would happily remove it if I could get my daughters phone to Bluetooth at the same time that I use CarPlay.

What I'm really getting at here is what's your current ACM value at 727-01-01? The question about Sirius was just so I'd know what value to tell you to try at 727-01-01 for the Bluetooth issue.

Are you saying you want your phone AND your daughter's phone connected to the truck at the same time? I don't think it will do that.

I haven’t connected to the new truck with FORScan yet. I’ll do that tomorrow and report back. I think the previous owner already did some FORScan work because I have a turbo gauge instead of tranny temp.

I want hers to be Bluetooth. I want mine connected through CarPlay. At the moment I can connect them both through USB.

The tranny temp vs turbo gauge is a selection you make from the dash screen. Think it is under display. Not a Forscan thing.
