Yup, That's the one I was thinking of. Couldn't remember where I read it. I don't have a key but was going to try it anyway but would much rather the forscan way.

The procedure in the owner's manual just changes the following in IPC:
720-01-01 xxxx xx2x xxxx Driver seatbelt minder status off
720-01-01 xxxx xx4x xxxx Passenger seatbelt minder status off
720-01-01 xxxx xx0x xxxx Driver & passenger seatbelt minder status off

Not sure why it's listed in RCM in FORScan in the plain English area.

Man,you really got this stuff down. Mine was a xx6x now I know that the passenger side is off too. I was waiting for the kids to get home from school to see if it was both or just the drivers side. Thanks

I believe those turn off the chimes or does it do the light too? The RCM disables the checking all together. I believe in IDS for my 16 Explorer I had, the options for the IPC and RCM were there but for my Edge none of them are.

That's what I was trying to do when I asked, was turning off the chimes.
My light was still on even tho the belt minder was disabled in the RCM. So I'm not sure if it does anything.

Just the chimes, light stays on. I don't doubt that there's something in RCM to disable completely but what's currently in FORScan there in the plain English area doesn't work. I'll play around with that when I get some time.

Livinitup, bro were you ale to determine if the door modules already in our truck (XLT) could be reprogrammed instead of buying new modules when adding power folding mirrors with puddle lights? I have bought just about everything to do this but held off on the door modules hoping you could figure this out.

I have no way of testing it but you could try writing the following to see: (if it takes it, the modules are writable and you should be able to then put back your as built values until you're ready w/the new mirrors)

DDM module
740-03-01 A000 EB - w/powerfold mirrors
740-04-01 F000 3C - turn signals w/puddle lamps

PDM module
741-03-01 A000 EC - w/powerfold mirrors
741-04-01 F000 3D - turn signals w/puddle lamps
