Damn. Those puppies ain't cheap. What sort of interface do the PCM tuner devices (e.g. SCT) use, where they are are so much cheaper than true J2534-2? Or or they not really flashing the firmware, and just updating tables?

I did a search and looked on the spreadsheet, so I apologize if it missed it.

Is there any way to have the truck default to perimeter alarm all the time, or disable the motion sensors permanently?

I know you can in the display but it always defaults back to "all sensors" when you cycle the ignition and while it pops up when I jump out but sometimes the dog is in there and I forget and the next thing i know the damn alarm keeps going off. Thanks

Putting some stickers over the sensors is the easiest way.

Hello all, just made some mods using the spreadsheet to my 2017 Lariat. Now my backup camera is not working/displaying when in I shift in reverse. Before I go back and restore the settings I wanted to see if anyone has had the same experience and a fix for this. I used the spreadsheet and made the following mods. I did a search, but didn’t find anything related to this issue.

•DRL-Turns only (Halogen lights)
•Global Window Open/Close
•Double Horn Honk disable
•Engine temp & Transmission temp display 8” cluster
•Heated & Cooled Seat Icons on home & climate screen
•Stereo Extended play

• When I bring my vehicle into the dealer should I mention that I do not want them to update the firmware on the sync?
  In your fourth question you stated that you have 3.8 - this is the most current version released to the F150 that I'm aware of..

  Again , you have the most current so their is no need to downgrade.

• Does it matter which navigation sd card I purchase A7 or A8, should they all work the same? Doesn't look like this is something you can just download.
  The A8 is the newest map version, you can buy an older card you just wont have the most up to date data on it.

• When I login to ford online it shows that I am currently on 3.8 and that there is not a newer version avaliabile. I was thinking there was a 3.10 out now? I have a 2015 f150.

Refer to Question One - This is the latest version I know of. I had heard rumors of 3.10v for SYNC 2 but have yet to see anyone with it.

Sync 2 v3.10 is not available for download - only available as an IDS install.

You most likely messed up in APIM doing the Heated & Cooled Seat Icons and Stereo Extended play. Restore that module from your backups and test it. If it doesn't work, reset the APIM module in FORScan (wrench icon) and test. If it works, add back the heated/cooled seat icons and test again. Then add back the extended play and test again.

Do you have to request it? The reason I ask is I had taken my truck back to the dealer twice after hearing of the update (before I upgraded my system) & they never updated past 3.8
