That tablet comes with the Micro USB to USB adapter. Only issue is if it's plugged in to power source, you can't use the adapter as there is only one Micro USB slot. Make sure the tablet is fully charged before you start. I also bought a 64Gb micro SD card to use with the tablet as there is not much room on the drive that it comes with.

It's also $18 cheaper than when I bought it. Lucky you!!!

Just a helpful note to anyone looking to get into the Forscan game. Rather than buy a cheap tablet from Amazon, I went to my local pawn shop and found a used laptop with Win 10 for less than the cost of one of those tablets. Good sized keyboard and bluetooth, set up and ready to go. Just another options for guys.

Hey man,

Sync 3 V2.2 per your suggestion earlier, I just the blue theme and that didn't work either. I just tried resetting my sync back to factory and it looks like it changed some things, but not everything. . the splash screen still says GT... and when I turn off the car, its still the original ford screen..

I'm not sure why you're having issues...if you're on Sync 3 v2.2 & you made these changes you should see the new GT blue theme:
7D0-01-02 0xxx xxxx xxxx
7D0-02-01 xxxx xDxx xxxx
7D0-03-01 xxxx x4xx xxxx

After you make the changes, turn the truck off & open/shut door and wait a few mins before you turn it back on because you may not see the theme change happen immediately.

I changed a few things and then noticed its, but now the sound/beeps that the car makes when you enter used to come from the speakers, now it seems to come from the cluster area, what could have caused that ?
The couple things I changed that might have something to do would be I added the numbers on top of the gauges, and I turned off the engine sound from the speakers.
I did make a few other changes but dont think they would be related ?

EDIT:

Ok I was reading more into, learning as I go, and found out 4 different settings for Fake Engine turn off.
I guess If I want to keep the "Demand Lamp"? (is that whats its called when you first come into the truck?) and engine noise off Id use x8xx instead of x0xx ?

Forget about the demand lamp, it has nothing to do with the bit for fake engine sound. Whenever you make a change to ACM you'll likely hear the chimes through the cluster instead of the speakers for the next couple of power on cycles. On the fake engine noise disable...what was your default value here?: 727-01-01 xxxx x*xx xxxx
