Anybody using an iphone and downloaded the new Ford Pass app get it to work fully?

When I call it up on the car radio screen I get a permission issue dialog. Says check the app. The app is not responding with an issue so I don't know what I am supposed to be doing in the app to fix the issue on the radio screen.

BTW The Ford Pass is supposed to be replacing the Ford Owner app that is now not functioning either.

For what it's worth....I use Android, and have the Ford Pass app. I find that it serves no real purpose other than the gee whiz ability of remembering where I parked and how much fuel is in my truck....

You might try uninstalling the app on your phone, then reinstalling.

 

I have it on IOS. Haven't had any issues. I was able to load the apps on SYNC, but only the few they said would work, and I don't use them. I am waiting for Carplay. My wife has it in her VW and it's perfect. I'll never own another vehicle without it as long as I have an iPhone.

Please try these steps to grant app permission:

1. Press the SETTINGS button in the feature menu.
2. Select MOBILE APPS.
3. Enable Mobile Apps if not already enabled.
4. Select All Apps, or an individual App.

The individual permission categories will be listed and can be enabled or disabled. You only need to grant specific App permissions the first time you use that particular app with SYNC.

Shaay thanks for the response. I did get it to work but it doesn't provide any information that isn't readily available by glancing at the dash display. Pretty much a time waste as far as I am concerned.

No its not if you have a 17 with Sync Connect.

 

I noticed in the IOS app store there is also a "Ford Remote Access" app - does this work with the F150s w/ remote start or do I need something additional? Or can this app do the same thing?


EDIT - nevermind - Just saw this will be a 2017 only function.

 

Does anyone get the lock / unlock option on their phone? I can only see my mileage and how much gas I have, yet they claim you can remote start and locks.
